Vintage/ M.I. "Hummel" Figurine/ Sensitive Hunter/ authentic HUM 6/II/ TMK-6/ Circa 1979 to 1991/ Goebel/ West Germany/ New Earthenware Figurine

The "Hummel" Figurine was procured from a gift shop. The gift shop remained abandoned for several years and all the figurines were locked safely in their glass cases. The item is considered 'new' and it is in 'mint' condition. There are no chips, cracks, or scratches present.

The "Hummel" Figurine is called the 'Sensitive Hunter' and measures at 7.5 inches. It weighs 10.5 ounces and each piece has been individually painted. The number located on the base of the figure reads as follows: 6/II. The Trade Mark on the base was utilized from 1979 to 1991 (TMK-6).

The item was pulled from production on December 31, 1984. Goebel announced the 7.5 was temporarily pulled from production, but there was never an additional announcement declaring when the item would return.

Unfortunately, I do not have the original box for this Hummel Figurine. When the gift shop urgently closed its doors, in 2013), sale items displayed authentic in glass cases didn't return to their original boxes and were lost during the cleaning and liquidation process.

The figurine is extremely clean and is considered 'display' ready. The artist did sign the bottom of this figurine.
