Product code: Vintage Union authentic Made Red Velvet Overcoat
This is a beautiful, rich cherry red velvet coat - authentic vintage, and it's in good condition considering it's age. The velvet shows some wear at the left shoulder and a spot on the back of the left sleeve. There is a stain on the lining and a few tears to the lining as well. This coat is like a Red Riding Hood coat! The mantle isn't quite large enough to be a hood, but does add some lovely detail to the silhouette. The sleeves are about 3/4 Sleeves and do have elastic on the inside and the cut of the coat is more like a cape - there is no closure, so a bold brooch would be lovely with this! The pictures do not do the color and fabric justice - no matter the lighting ir angles, i couldnt quite capture it! I did my best to represent it as richly as it appears in person! No size or materials tag, but approximate measurements are below Chest: authentic 21" Shoulders: 15" Sleeves: 19" Length: 41".
