This delightful plate has such a unique transferware image of a dog discovering a nest of eggs with the mama quail looking on. The rim is surrounded with a variety of dog breeds. Highlighted with Fleur de Lis and rocaille images all around throughout.
It's made of French earthenware and has an impressed back stamp that I can't authentic decipher. maybe you are familiar with it.
In vintage used and aged condition, with tiny nicks to the rim glaze and small chip shown in photo. Speaks for it's antique aged appeal!
Most unique in a wall or cabinet grouping, especially for a dog lover!
It measures 8 1/4" in diameter.
