T&V LIMOGES NASTURTIUMS Hand Painted authentic Plate Artist Signed 1900s France

This wonderful Limoges plate has the underglaze green mark of Tresseman & Vogt. This mark was in use from 1892 to 1907. Measuring 11 1/4 inches in diameter it features hand-painted nasturtiums of orange and gold encircled by a deep green border. Along with the T&V mark, it is also signed "M. H. Fargo" on its back. It has a very earthy and natural appeal and a stunning Art Nouveau flavor to it.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It does have a few very minor scratches sprinkled throughout that are not overly pronounced authentic.
